Ross's was established in 1904 as a gents` outfitter, and in 1907 was one of the first four shops in the country to supply the new Scout uniform. Over the years we grew, selling everything from Merchant Naval uniforms and footwear to sportswear and childrens wear.
In 1961, after retirements and the sale of our large Linthorpe Road premises, we reopened in our current store on Borough Road. We now concentrate on schoolwear, Scout and Guide wear, footwear and chefs` whites.
